Defending the Faith
"But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." (1 Peter 3:15, ESV)
As Christians, we are directed to be competent in giving answers to those who have questions and making a proper defense when our faith is attacked by those hostile to it. This is known as 'apologetics'.
Some have a misunderstanding of this term and believe it to mean apologizing for our beliefs. This is not what is intended.
The term apologetics is derived from the greek word apologia meaning, "to give a defense."
The pages in this section will be dedicated to that endeavor. The apologetical approach will be presuppositional in nature and could rightly be called Rational Fideism.
Enjoy!
